Hello to you my friend! My name is Carlos, owner of Custom Sounds Entertainment. It was in middle school that the idea of becoming an event DJ was sparked after attending my very first school dance. When I was in high school, I was finally able to obtain all the equipment that I would need to start Custom Sounds Entertainment and in the winter of 2012, I got my first gig DJing a teen fund raiser event. Since that time, I have DJed events from graduation ceremonies, family events, school dances, and weddings.

Also since the launch of CSE, I have continued to come up with new ideas and ways to keep making events better. I have a strong passion for pleasing people and want nothing more than for your event to go as smoothly as possible. One method that I have found to be especially effective is good planning. No two events will ever be the same and that’s exactly why you can’t simply use a by the book approach when planning someone’s special night. As time gets closer to the date of the event, I want to work closely with you to create a timeline of the entire night so I always know what’s going on. I want you to enjoy the night and be as much of a guest at the event as your guests celebrating with you are.

I am extremely thankful to my fellow classmates in high school for allowing me to DJ their events as I was just starting out so that I could gain the experience that I can now take with me to my future events. I am also thankful to the Clear Lake Community School district that has allowed me to DJ the annual father daughter dance two years in a row. This has been a great honor and is always an extremely fun event.

Drew joined the team in April of 2019 as a DJ Assistant. Carlos asked him to help at a wedding and it was clear from the start that Drew was exactly what Carlos was looking for. Since his first event, Drew has taken on more responsibilities and is on his way to becoming a full Event DJ.
